Chicken Lettuce Wrap

I am always fan of lettuce wrap. They are low in carbs so I can stuff myself with out any kind of guilt. This recipe just takes 20 minutes to assemble everything and serve to your family and friends.

Ingredients:

1 tbs sesame oil

1 lb ground chicken

1 tbsp garlic chopped

1 cup mushrooms chopped

1 cup water chestnuts/carrots chopped

1 small bunch of green onion sliced

lettuce leaves

Dressing sauce

1 tbsp sesame oil

1 tbsp soy sauce

3 tbsp hoisin sauce

2 tbsp minced ginger

1 tbsp rice wine vinegar

3 tbsp chili garlic sauce/srieacha sauce

Instructions:

  1. Combine dressing sauce Ingredients in a bowl and whisk well, keep it aside.

  2. In a wok heat up sesame oil and add chopped garlic and mushrooms sauté for a minute.

  3. Add ground chicken (you can also use small chucks of chicken breast pieces) and sauté well for a minute.

  4. Add dressing sauce over chicken and mix well, cook until chicken cooks completely.

  5. Add water chestnuts cubes and sauté well for 2 minutes.

  6. Let it cool for a bit, pour mixture on lettuce leaves and garnish with green onion springs.
